Thresholds
Weather, Part 107, and Part 91 thresholds are edited under Edit on the project (or in New Project setup). You can still tap a column header in the hourly table for a single threshold.
Display & install
Theme cycles dark β light β system. Install adds Adar by Rothentic to your home screen when the browser allows it (on iPhone use Share β Add to Home Screen).
Saved terrain
Terrain is cached on this device.
Data sources
Forecast: Open-Meteo. Terrain: Terrarium/SRTM (AWS elevation tiles). Radar: NWS / Iowa State. Kp: NOAA SWPC. Observations: AviationWeather, NWS. Check airspace and your own limits before flying.

Operating hours (local, 24-hour)
Default 06:00β22:00. Change only if you need a different window.
Aircraft & altitude
Viewshed uses a 1 mi buffer around the larger of the LRZ or project boundary (set automatically).
Weather & regulatory thresholds
Standards below. Review and adjust if this mission needs different limits.
Defaults: wind 12/18 Β· rain 40% Β· 400 ft Β· B/C/D/E. Editable later under Edit.
IR mapping parameters
Tune thermal contrast scoring. Aircraft wind limits above still control GO / NO-GO.
Wildfire hot spots favor night and calm air. Contrast wind is quality only β not the aircraft limit.
Generate sets the LRZ to your current location. You can move the pin and draw the project area on the map afterward.

Part 107 uses mission AGL for cloud clearance. Part 91 sets visibility/ceiling rules. Defaults: wind 12/18 Β· rain 40% Β· 400 ft Β· B/C/D/E.
Thermal contrast scoring for this project. Aircraft wind limits still control GO / NO-GO.
Wildfire hot spots favor night and calm air. Reprocess after changes.

How the map works
- Left tools β βΉ Select, π LRZ, ⬑ Area, LOS, π Profile, βοΈ Sketch, and ? for this panel.
- Layers β base map and overlays are on the mapβs layer control (bottom-right corner).
- Airspace β overlays use your Flight AGL. LOS and βΉ Select show the vertical stack from the ground up.
- βΉ Select β tap a point for airspace, UAS ceiling, obstacles, and ground elevation.
- π LRZ β tap the map to place the LRZ (weather and elevation center).
- ⬑ Area β project / NOTAM outline. Drag points; Undo / Clear to fix.
- π Line β elevation profile starts at the LRZ; add points after that.
- οΌ Pts β paste many points at once (lat, lon per line, or NOTAM-style) into Area or Line.
- βοΈ Sketch β freehand draw on the map; Clear removes the active sketch.
- π₯ KMZ β import overlay; Move repositions it; Clear KMZ removes it.
- LOS β opens Viewshed and Line of Sight below the map (terrain, profile, viewshed, airspace).
- π NOTAM β coordinates with copy, KML and GeoJSON.
- Auto-save β once named, edits save automatically.
- KML / GeoJSON β export pin + area only.

Weather station
Choose the station that supplies METAR, NWS, or RAWS weather and the reported altimeter (when available). Change altimeter separately if you need your own setting.
Altimeter
By default this uses the selected stationβs reported altimeter. Override only if you are setting a different value in the aircraft or controller.
Weather stays from the station; pressure and density altitude use your value.
